St. Patrick’s Day Parade Information

Hello Milford Borough Residents, Merchants, and Parade Spectators. As many of you already know, Milford Borough will be hosting its first St. Patrick’s Day Parade this coming Sunday, 3/17/24. There are currently about 42 Units of different marching groups amounting to hundreds of individual marchers. To make this parade a safe and enjoyable one for all participants and spectators the following are details of and information on the parade: Formation Location/Time-Ann Street Park, Noon Parade Start-1:00pm Parade Route-South on 5th Street from Ann Street Park to Harford St. Left on Harford St (Eastbound) to Broad St. Left on Broad St (Northbound) to High St. Right on High St (Eastbound) to end in front of St. Patrick’s Church. Travel Restrictions-Many Borough interior streets and alleys will be closed one to two hours before the parade begins. Broad and Harford Streets will be closed around the parade route at approximately 12:45pm with no parking on either parade route sections of Harford/Broad. The detour around the parade route will encompass 3rd Street on the east side and 6th Street on the west side, both to George Street allowing motorists to completely avoid the parade route.  Parking Restrictions-There will be parking restrictions in certain sections of town, please pay attention to the temporary signs.  There will be no parking around Ann Street Park to allow for the formation of marchers, floats and vehicles starting at approximately 11:00am.   We hope everyone can come out and enjoy this celebration of Irish Ancestry and Heritage. Please remember that everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day and please do not forget to wear green.
