Milford Borough Governance

The Borough Council is the elected governing body for the Borough of Milford. The council hires all employees, sets the annual budget, approves or revises all borough ordinances, and has authority over all the departments of the Borough of Milford.

The council members meet on the third Monday of every month at 7 p.m. at Borough Hall, 109 West Catharine Street, Milford, PA 18337. A portion of these monthly meetings is set aside for public comment. The council also holds Workshop meetings quarterly.

Additionally, the HARB meeting is held on the second Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m., and the Planning meeting is held on the first and fourth Mondays of each month, as needed, at 6 p.m.

The Milford Borough Council includes seven elected officials. They are responsible for governing the Borough by enacting ordinances, approving the annual budget, setting tax rates, and overseeing public services like streets, parks, and sanitation. They establish policies, hire borough staff, and ensure the safety and welfare of residents.
